Detection of virus.

Virus may travel all over the network for a very long time, but sooner or later it will be downloaded by some network user and become known. There're two way to deal with this trouble. The first way is to try to detect and dispose virus on your own. The signature of the virus will be found out; the signature of the virus is a sequence of bytes that contains full characteristic of the virus. For signature creating the most important and characteristic code parts are used. With that the scheme of virus' activity become known; for example in case of boot virus places where virus' tail and original boot sector are become known. In case of file infector signature detecting will identify the way of file infecting.
